All the motivators and psychologists say you have to “believe in yourself”. That makes sense. But before you can believe in yourself, you have to believe yourself.

So many people are wimps when it comes to promises and commitment. They say they’ll do something, and they don’t. They promise they’ll help you and they do some other stuff. They promise they’ll pay their bills, and they leave the country! Then they wonder why their lives don’t work.

Only commit to something if you know you will follow through. If necessary, make fewer promises and fewer commitments, but whatever you say you’ll do it. Gradually your word becomes law for you – and that’s when you really believe in yourself.

If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten

Ask “courageous” people who they find the nerve to quit jobs, start business, buy real estate, move to different countries, do anything new and you’ll find a common approach.

They ask themselves the question: “IF THE WORST HAPPEN, COULD I DEAL WITH IT?” When the answer is” “Yes.” They take the plunge. It’s the secret for the big risks and small risks…

EXAMPLE: Mike is unsure about buying an apartment. He ask: “What’s the worst that could happen?”
Answer: “I could lose my job and be forced to sell the apartment at a loss. I might lose my savings, and have to start all over again.” He says to himself: “Starting over would be frustrating but I’d somehow handle it.” He buys.

EXAMPLE: Cheng wants to ask Jenny for a date. He asks himself: What’s the worst that could happen?”
Answer: “She might throw her Coke in my face.” Cheng says: “I’m used to that sort of treatment! I’ll ask!”

EXAMPLE: Louissy wants to quit medicine to study archaeology. She asks: “What’s the worst that could happen?”
Answer: “My father might hit the roof, my friends might say I’m crazy. I might have to study twice as hard.” She says: “If the worst happened, I’d survive it.”

CONCLUSION: It is not a negative approach to ask “What is the worst that could happen?” It is a way of measuring your commitment. Break your vague fears into specific possibilities, and risk-taking becomes more fun.

It is a once lifetime’s biggest decision maker which I have open my mindset and live with changes. Financial crisis is one of the main reason because of Amercia banks and now all over the world is quite affected because most countries is doing business dealings with Amercia especially stocks. Now Australia currency has dropped further. It is such a pain. I am not going to elaborate further because it has already became old news. Already too sick of all the news and media that has been popping everyday. Too much to stomach it.

Anyway…

So what do I look forward to? Go with the changes. Been away for too long and it is time for me to recover the lost time back in Singapore and make new friends, network with them and grow with them. I should share my knowledge and leverage my mindset in a socially better way to cope with challenges. Merge with it and start all over again. That is the changes I have to focus for now. Everything what you have learnt until to this day might be a pivot role for you in time of needs but won’t last you forever. Have to constantly live with changes. So here Singapore I come to enlighten some of my friends who still have a weak mindset and doesn’t have worldly sense. To learn is very time consuming and I can feel them and understand their thoughts. To this day I have discover a whole new world where people who are far very intelligent but still in poverty and not-so-intelligent people yet are able to work their way to riches.

Here is a question to ponder on: Have you ever wonder who have great talent remain poor, while others who have very little talent get rich. There are alot of things out in this world where there is a possibilities.

In this world we as human live only for 3 motives. Body, Mind and Soul. It is not right or noble for the soul and deny the mind or the body and it is wrong to live for the intellect and deny the body and soul. We all have the harmful consequence of living for the body and denying both mind and soul; we readily see that real life means the complete expression of all that man can give in body, mind and soul. Here is a visualization technique that accomplishes all that. It guarantees that everyone you encounter will feel your warmth. I call it “Hello Old Friend”.

When meeting someone, play a mental trick on yourself. In your mind’s eye, see him or her as an old friend, someone you had a wonderful relationship with years ago. But somehow you lost track of your friend. You tried so hard to find your good buddy, but there was no listing in the phone book. No information online. None of your mutual friends had a clue.

Suddenly, WOW! What a suprise! After all those years, the two of you are reunited. You are so happy.

That’s where the pretending stops. Obviously, you are not going to try to convince New Person that the two of you are really old friends. You are not going to hug and kiss and say, “Great to see you again!” or “How have you been all these years?” You merely say, “Hello,” “How do you do,” “I am pleased to meet you.” But, inside it’s a very different story.

You will amaze yourself. The delight of rediscovery fills your face and buoys up your body language. I sometimes jokingly say if you were a light, you’d beam on the other person. If you were a dog, you’d be wagging your tail. You make New Person feel very special indeed.

The Technique: HELLO OLD FRIEND

When meeting someone, imagine he or she is an old friend (an old customer, an old beloved, or someone else you had great affection for). How sad, the vicissitudes of life tore you two asunder. But, holy mackerel, now the party (the meeting, the convention) has reunited you with your long-lost old friend!

OMG!! Wow that was an interesting theory of his viewpoint which catch my attention. It is somewhat a very eye opener. It is something if the DNA can be able to say it all. But the only thing is it is not scientifically proven yet for all I know. If it were scientifically proven then the news would spread like wildfire.

He also claimed that beauty could be genetically manufactured, saying: “People say it would be terrible if we made all girls pretty. I think it would be great.”

On another note, it is also one of the bold insight that there will be a day that DNA can be modified and genetically engineered successfully if such a day would come. It might take many years of research and billion of dollars invested to be successful. Now we are in an information age and anything might be possible one day. But the best issue is everyone in this world would love a beautiful girl for a wife plus intelligent, charming and  influence aura around her would be a bonus but it will never be the case because everyone is made up of different physical shape and size in humankind.

That is one of the interesting case study the DNA researcher and scientist would like to find out how the genetics can be nutured and engineered.

Have you ever admired those successful people who seem to have it all? You see them chatting confidently at business meetings, comfortably at social parties. They’re the ones with the best jobs, the nicest spouses, the coolest friends, the biggest bank accounts, the most fashionable zip codes.

Why don’t they see it? Because some of the moves BIG WINNERS make are so smooth, so subtle, it takes another BIG WINNER to recognize them.

The old boys – in the days when top management was, unfortunately, mainly old boys – complimented each other by saying, “Buddy, you ain’t no accident.” They bestowed this slang tribute with a tinge of jealously when one old buy saw some sensitive act the other had executed.

Indeed, today the old (and not so old) boys and girls who run our country, our corporations, and our arts “ain’t no accident.” Each has a big of tricks, a Midas touch that turns everything they do into success.

Just a quick table overview of what it is like from Web 1.0 to 3.0 which might be interesting to the web users and internet users who are rather curious about the web happenings. Web 1.0 is movement of the internet, Web 2.0 is online community, Web 3.0 is undefined and has yet to occur on larger scale web information

NOTE: It is not in anyway proven of web 3.0 but read at your own risk. It is based on my analysis from different web source and analysis of what it is like compared from Web 1.0 to 3.0 which might happen in the future. If there are anything you would like to correct me. A message: I wish I can register and attend the Web 3.0 Conference and Expo at web3event.net. But since I am broke, I can’t even afford a ticket to Santa Clara, CA let alone the registeration of the ticket. I very much wish to go. *sighz* too broke. Hope it is held next year. Kinda pathetic for me. So sad. Will be looking foward to next year’s conference if there is one. I be keeping my eye open for the events.

Oh yes since it is old news but yet I will still voice my opinion and viewpoint.

Since most of the banks in Amercia has financial problems, has taken the toll all over the world and the news is spreading like wild fire. Most Amercia banks on verge of collapse, some merge with other companies, finding sponsor for loans to save the company in the brink of collapse and looking for investor to fund to save the company. So many things that can happen in a blink of an eye. Fast forward to this day, Amercia has suffered great success and fall through generation which the world has knew up to this day. Many great happenings surrounding the Great Amercia that all mankind had known up to this day. Even the Amercia Stocks has a greater pie than the rest of the country. The rest is told in history. Too many things to comprehend in one sentence. The Amercia “IN GOD WE TRUST” has now become “IN DEBT WE TRUST” (http://www.indebtwetrust.org/). There are many things that is beyond our understanding.

Now it is the information age where the Internet has taken foothold of and so many voices out there crying out loud, making their reputation and opinion heard. So many bloggers wanting to make their viewpoint standout and build their presence online for the world to know. Too many to count in fact. Only determined and great visionaries can have a great succession in online presence. So many voice crying out loud for god’s sake. Many people out in cyberspace want to let the whole world know who they are. That is a bold web movement that is still ongoing.

Life is not as smooth sailing like the information highway. Many have gone through tough times and all in all it only depends on your hindsight of what you are seeing next. Make everyday as your last a priority and you will see greater hopes of the future. This is a changing world we live in as times moves, internet evolves, cyberspace blaze in a whiz, the earth revolves, voice debate and everything that has come together as one as a WEB which we have known of the internet generation that has been through the last 10 years since google has changed people’s perspective. Baidu is catching up soon as well. Since Baidu.com is already the next big thing in China and soon catching up to the world wide web. Or maybe whore wiggling web. *chuckles*

Web 3.0 is still moving to change the web presence of how internet surfers and web user interact because of the development of faster processor and hi-speed broadband access that rapidly changing the way we live in.

1) Life is a road which you need to pinpoint the experience and process where it can makes you and break you. A road that you need to partake not avoid. Do not ever feel inferior, shut your knowledge to the world. Face it bravely. Open your mindset, vision and heart wide. Be the person who you once were proudly and showcase to the whole world for who you really are. Show them what you are made of.

2) There were a times we do feel the lousiest bottom of our life in the shallow pits of the coldness. Do not ever feel in despair and feel hated. Don’t let it overcome you. For once do yourself a favor and lie back and look at the blue sky and you will realise there are a bigger world out there of no tomorrow. You have a choice not the destiny makes you. You have a price to pay, bleed for, cry for and aim for and never look since. Go to where you have never dared (e.g: no-man’s land). It can be in any width and depth of your inner self. No one is here to help you unless you are willing to help yourself and then in turn someone will offer you a helping hand.

3) Share your world, your stories, your life, your pain, your vision to a person who you so love dearly. Never feel discrimation of your whole life if you have the power of courage to pull you out of your inferior self. There are life happenings but there is a choice and your decision to make in your turning point of life is how you look in your way not others’. Forget about all the worldly advise you have seek all these years.

4) Forget about giving yourself excuses. There are many ways we have gave ourselves excuses. Once again no more excuses and discipline yourself to the fullest and change your way of thinking. Yes discipline is not everyone’s favourite word and it is not the easiest to build self awareness. It all depends on your mindset of how you can build it from the ground up. It all begins with you.

5) Finally be happy for who you are and thank youself why you came into this world to see finer details of life. See how sweet and ugly the world is. Everything is not the way you can expect it to be. Face it and make changes. Life’s experience is a road that takes you to a beginning not the end. Every chapter has it untold mysteries that unfold in front of your very eye if you have the willingness to seek the answer that you have been chasing your whole life no matter how many years you forgo.

Truth to be told: from an outsider point of view that most singaporean deaf has not really matured beyond their age. Not a minority but the majority of it. Sad to say but true… wait who knows… only you.

I came a long road that is less travelled but experience the process that no amount of money can buy. It is PRICELESS.

It is something which the worldly knowledge meets unfathomable that wisdom is unexplained in a word. It can lead to a downfall in a day but to build from the ground up is even more excruciating. Do you remember a time that it takes 100 years to grow into a tree but takes 1 day to fell a tree? How does it feels if you have build an empire that falls before you? It can be any forms of problems.

Well life is always cruel at times and there are really brutal truth out there in the whole wide world. You have to face that problem when the moments stand in front of you. Move on with pride and courage and don’t look back until you succeed in reaching your destination that you have achieved. Wield your courage and face it rather than avoiding it all your life. It is not something, you can run off or otherwise it will follow you that has no end.
