Be A Possibilitarian

Filed under: Comprehensible viewpoints — ohiit

An Inspirational Thought
by Catherine Pulsifer

Nine people were discussing a business problem.

The challenge they were facing was not there fault; it was circumstances beyond their control that resulted in this problem.

The problem was identified, and they were discussing what they were going to do about it. “What will we do,” asked one of them. One person immediately said, “There is nothing we can do.” That response was unacceptable to the rest of the group and acted as a spark of action. “Yes, there is something we can do!” replied two of them in unison. It was at that point that their minds started to work coming up with solutions.

We are all faced with challenges at some point in our life, challenges that we did not create. Challenges that happened beyond our control. The difference is how we respond to these challenges. You can adopt the attitude there is nothing you can do, or you can see the challenge as your call to action.

As Norman Vincent Peale said,
“Become a ‘possibilitarian’.
No matter how dark things seem to be or actually are, raise your sights and see the possibilities-
Always see them, for they are always there.”

Knowing is not enough

Knowing is not enough, you must apply
Knowing is not enough, you must learn
Knowing is not enough, you must see
Knowing is not enough, you must relive it
Knowing is not enough, you must experience
Knowing is not enough, you must touch
Knowing is not enough, you must communicate
Knowing is not enough, you must share

It is all in the minds. Decide to forge ahead and be a winner or be defeated. Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.

Believe in your beliefs.

Whatever you do, whatever you go, whatever you indulge, whatever you own, whatever you learn, whatever you share, whatever you teach, whatever you wish, whatever you think?

All boils down to one thing is you gotta believe in belief and a great leap of faith to enable yourself to change your mindset and unlock your potential thoughts and open up to a world of possibilities no matter what misfortune may befall. It is something that is unavoidable but doable to conquer it. Of course it is by no easy feat and it requires a great amount of your emotional and intelligent self to enable yourself to move forward. Life moves on and not backward. Come on gentleman and ladies. Make your life an adventure that you would be proud of and a sense of happiness within you no matter big or small. Every moment counts.

Like now that January 2010 has come to an end. It is not the end but the beginning of one’s true self discovery of what you want to do tomorrow and the next day is your creation of discovery. Months can flow by without you realizing that the years you have strolled by seems like nothingness. It is not within you but you have a choice, a destiny to create the life you want.

It is called how to unlock your self belief is actually a leap of faith to change yourself. Change or let it flow by. The choice is yours.

Good communication

Filed under: Comprehensible viewpoints — ohiit

How many times have you heard the “good communication skills”? You know…. the job requirements that stated good communication skills are a must. Are they really that important? Yes. Do most people do a good job of it? No. Don’t take your communication skills for granted. As part of your job, you need to take a step back, evaluate and deploy communication skills that will drive further success. Effective communication skills are what you say and how you say it; your verbal and nonverbal communication.

Strong communication skills include the abilities to:

• Listen and understand: Stay quiet, do not interrupt and paraphrase what you heard.

• Make distinctions: Ask insightful questions to understand and confirm what the other person is trying to say.

• Make requests: Get clear on what you want and ask for it.

• Communicate information or opinions: Directly communicate your recommendations and suggestions.

When you effectively apply these communication techniques, you clearly convey your message and better understand the needs of others.

The world has change but people has not.

Filed under: Comprehensible viewpoints — ohiit

Why is that so?

Because the earth is sick. Global warming are everywhere. Nobody cares. They are too busy getting on with their lives. Making money is their first priority in life and it still holds true to this day. Poverty are every where. Fate can sometimes be cruel to all of us. We need to take control of our own destiny, create it and achieve it.

The real cold hard truth.

1) Nobody wish to be poor all their lives
2) Happiness come and go
3) Love can be beautiful and cruel at times
4) Money never end
5) Divorce are everywhere.
6) Sin and vanity are common.
7) Sex is an adventure
8) People doesn’t want to be born that way
9) Emotion is a killer
10) College and university education are expensive
11) Everyone experience stress
12) You can see but can’t touch
13) You evolve after years of learning
14) People are afraid to admit mistakes and failures
15) Everyone live in a subconscious mind without realising the real truth
16) Money, sex and booze
17) Internet porn are everywhere
18) No one is born a genius
19) We all are human beings with emotion
20) People always blame everything

What every problem you will ever face really is

Filed under: Comprehensible viewpoints — ohiit

We typically fear, try to avoid, ignore, or get away from problems. But really, a problem is simply a question hasn’t been answered yet.

Any problem, from the trivial to the tremendous, is really a question searching for an answer. Here are a few serious global problems and their associated questions:

Global warming: “How can we stop destroying the Earth and still live the lives we want?”

Poverty: ” How can we equally distribute the wealth of the world so that people don’t have to go without the basic necessities of life?”

Unemployment: ” How can we get everyone working in jobs that produce wealth for themselves and help society function better as well?”

(Notice I didn’t say these were easy questions. That is why we haven’t found all the answers yet!)

What about the problems people face on the personal or professional level?

Wanting to be more successful: “How can I be more successful in my life and business?”

Lack of organisation: “Why can’t I find what I am looking for?”

Wanting companionship: “Why can’t I meet the person of my dreams?”

If you want to change any of these, you could use the traditional affirmation method by saying things like: “I am a success, I am organised, I am good enough,” and so on.

You may believe these statements and you may not. Now, if affirmations work for you, that is great. If, however, you find yourself not believing your affrimations (like most of us), and you are not totally satisfied with the results, why not try something so simple, yet powerful, that the traditional success teachers skipped right over it on their way to breakfast:

Rather than making a statement you don’t believe..why not ask a QUESTION that can transform your life?

NOW IT IS TIME TO REPROGRAM YOUR MINDSET.
