Mother Teresa quote

Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is bliss, taste it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.

Difference between WISHING and being READY

There is a difference between WISHING for a thing and being READY to recieve it. No one is ready for a thing, until he believes he can acquire it. The state of mind must be BELIEF, not mere hope or wish. Open-mindedness is essential for belief. Closed minds do not inspire faith, courage and belief.

Heart

AWESOME!!

Friendship shared…

This was an interesting experience to be traveling across different continents meeting different people from all walks of life. I love meeting beautiful people that are unique in their own way and has a unique form of character.

Culture and language exchange are a very unique experience which is not found in your daily life.

Weekend spring cleaning

As I was spring cleaning my room on weekend. The very day that I found all the scribble written papers along with many quote of a famous and successful leaders or writers. It made me recall all those statement that has motivated and inspired me realising how fragile and short a life is so therefore it is to be penned down before it will be all gone again.

There is one thing that I found out which still etched in my thoughts until now as it reads “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realise how close they were to success when they gave up.”

This quote is from Thomas Edison (February 11, 1847 – October 18, 1931) was an American inventor, scientist, and businessman who developed many devices that greatly influenced life around the world.

A Personal Experience from Resort World Genting Seminar 2010

I felt the need to type it down before I forget due to busy schedule. The message itself was a purpose of thoughts penned down and sharing a brief moment encounter.

On that 18th Saturday and 19th Sunday December month at Resort World Genting seminar which I was invited by Ricky Wah who grew to be a persistent friend of mine whom I met a few months back at NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) training session back in March 2010. I find this day to be really unique but the strange encounter is that I came across a girl living a life with (NF) Neurofibromatosis which was not known to me. Her name is Yvonne Foong and she has a blog at http://www.yvonnefoong.com/. To my dear viewers, I hope you take the time to read this blog if you are really curious. I believe is worth a read if you haven’t come across her personally in real life. A patient with NF Type 2 will have to encounter numerous obstacles. A Google search of “Neurofibromatosis” will explain that.

This 2 day seminar at Genting was about speaker sharing personal message and also included leader’s interviewing session. Throughout the seminar was spoken in Chinese but I had the special privilege to sit beside the Chinese-English interpreter known as Kevin and “Oh Boy” he was 20 years old and an accidental Amway distributor as he shared with me his long story short. As I looked across the Microsoft Word black screen and the text was white which was specially made for reading purpose for people with eyesight problem and it got me thinking why like this. I was so intrigued and I bended forward and took a glance at that person next to Kevin while he was typing the keyboard away.

Little did I realised she has some sort of issue but I didn’t knew what it was until I tap on her shoulder and asked. I communicate with her by type on her laptop asking “What kind of issue do you have?” She turned to look at me across from her shoulder and I was surprise and all the words flash through my mind but her smile was so sincere that her facial expression has been resolved. It was hard lip-reading her but I am glad to have her special laptop to communicate with as I understood her plight after she explained to me about her disease which was genetic mutant which was exposed by some sort of environment (I am not clear about that) and she shared with me that her parents was genetic dormant but Yvonne have to face that disease which is called Neurofibromatosis.

Throughout silent communication, suddenly I was pointed out by a chinese speaker on stage asking me to stand up and I had that puzzled look on my face as thousand audience’s eye and video camera was all on me (DAMN, I dunno whether what state to feel in as I can’t describe in words). I was greeted with a loud applause as I finally understood that the speaker was previously sharing my story about my struggles throughout my university years in Australia and I gain that kind of recognition for that effort despite my hearing impairment. I waved at thousand audience and scanned across the large room. The applause was something out of this world in front of me. It was the first experience I ever had. It seems to me that the applause last forever.

“I really hate surprise”. Seriously!!

After the applause, I was like “OMG” but it gave me a new NLP achor to apply to whenever I felt the need to be motivated. Real life experience at it BEST!!

At 12pm plus the lights dimmed and the power point slide was presented which was sharing her personal picture story with a music background and it was really moving. As I scanned across the whole room and I noticed people were moved to tears. And oh my goodness even through I do have a hearing problem but that brief story was enough to shed a drop of tears. The subtitle was in Chinese.

The final day of seminar came to a close and I brought her book with a curious intent to understand what the story was about and hope to find something inspiring after I finish the book. I am glad to ask her for a signature with a personal message that reads “The best music is in the heart”. I knew what it means. I knew that message from so long ago but it appears 10 years later in front of me. It is a total recall.

People with a lost of hearing after sometimes can be heart wrenching if you have personally experience that and you will begin to understand “Life is fragile” so take good care of your health. It involves positive mindset throughout the years but not an easy feat. It requires many trained minds to be fully developed.

My personal message is “Life is always full of surprise if you keep on discovering every little things with meaningful action”. Very basic message and people choose to ignore it or keep it until it fade and it will be gone forever, So always keep an open mind and meet more people from all walks of life and it is also an experience to train one’s own thoughts with positive action. I am glad to be able to do so for the last past 5 years till now as I have gained a lot of exposure during my university years oversea. It enable me to observe people characteristic with different expression and emotion with open mind of greater distinction. Some are positive and some are negative but above all move on with life.

I think I have to end here.

Christmas Reads

Get The Life You Want

Have a great Christmas read so I decided to upload this pdf ebook for reading on weekends or your own free time. ^_^

2010 is nearing…

OMG!! I haven’t written anything in September and October 2010. WOW!! So funny and ironic it must be. At last I finally written it in to fill the white space. You think? LOL!! No, I just back here to review it and check what has gone missing in the white spaces. ^_^

So it is just a normal rant and nothing much I really hate to put so much words in a blog. I hate being long winded and am trying to see what is in store for me next 2011. I am glad I have plans but not for so in the time being. My search has ended. I know what I want to seek out in life. Time is essential to your very own being. Don’t let time steal your dreams. Do it and worry about it later. ;)

I am here to feel what I ought to write it down. I have seen many bonds, relationship, friendship come and go and it is really seriously a fleeting moment because they are leading their own lives one by one and are soon dispersing in their very own world. As the years goes by, we age, we grow, we think alot of stuffs ahead but should put into action to see what happen next or just forget it and move on.

I shall end my rant here and there are alot of plans for me this November and December months to come. Preparing for 2011. How about you all guys and ladies? I hope you have found something in life.

Till then have a great months that is nearing 2011.

Be A Possibilitarian

An Inspirational Thought
by Catherine Pulsifer

Nine people were discussing a business problem.

The challenge they were facing was not there fault; it was circumstances beyond their control that resulted in this problem.

The problem was identified, and they were discussing what they were going to do about it. “What will we do,” asked one of them. One person immediately said, “There is nothing we can do.” That response was unacceptable to the rest of the group and acted as a spark of action. “Yes, there is something we can do!” replied two of them in unison. It was at that point that their minds started to work coming up with solutions.

We are all faced with challenges at some point in our life, challenges that we did not create. Challenges that happened beyond our control. The difference is how we respond to these challenges. You can adopt the attitude there is nothing you can do, or you can see the challenge as your call to action.

As Norman Vincent Peale said,
“Become a ‘possibilitarian’.
No matter how dark things seem to be or actually are, raise your sights and see the possibilities-
Always see them, for they are always there.”
